Writing the History of the Future: Science Fiction’s Use of Classical Antiquity
Dr. Cape is the Chase Professor of Classical Studies at Austin College in Sherman Texas, near Dallas. He is an expert in Latin pedagogy (the art of teaching the Latin language), and is currently writing a book about the influence of the Ancient Mediterranean world on modern science fiction.
