Once students have officially declared a major/minor in a CAHSS program, they should contact the specific department/ program to be assigned an individual advisor, who can authorize enrollment for the upcoming semester.
The assigned advisor will review degree requirements and make suggestions about which courses students should register for, and and discuss work schedules, extra-curricular activities, student-athlete commitments, and the number of credits being taken. We encourage students to maintain regular communication with their advisor, and strongly recommend meeting with an advisor at least twice a semester.
