5 Tips for Time Management

Time management is often one of the most challenging skills for students to master. Below, you will find some tips to help you form more efficient study habits.

1. Prioritize

Set a list of priorities based on the level of importance. Make sure that top priority items receive an adequate amount of time.

2. Organize

Get organized by creating a weekly schedule. Factor in time for classes, study- time, work, and extra-curricular activities. Google Calendar is an excellent tool for scheduling.

3. Set time limits

Build time limits into your schedule. Allocate an appropriate amount of time for each task to ensure efficiency.

4. Stay focused

Eliminate distractions. Stay away from activities that waste too much of your valuable time.

5. Sleep

Get the proper amount of sleep. The body needs sufficient rest to continue performing at a high-level.
