ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Mr. Taigman is a nationally recognized expert in the Emergency Health Services Quality Improvement Science education community, serving for over 35 years in this capacity. Expertise gleaned from serving as a Paramedic, a Paramedic Management Consultant, a Quality Improvement Manager and Guide, a Corporate Director of Quality and Research, Faculty, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and an Online Program Developer for HarvardX brings a breadth and depth of experience that is highly valued and sought after by the EHS graduate students.

Additionally, he currently serves as a facilitator and improvement advisor to the National Emergency Medical Service Quality Alliance, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Office of EMS Patient Safety Foundation and previously developed the critical EMS Agenda 2050 for the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the Department of Health and Human Services, Dept of Homeland Security.

Mr. Taigman’s focus on Improvement Science in the field of Emergency Management has earned him the honor in 2018 as a “Top Innovator in EMS” from the Journal of Emergency Medical Services.
