In conjunction with the exhibition Louie Palu: Distant Early Warning, the Albin O. Kuhn Library Gallery presents a participatory installation and a panel discussion.

The public is invited to view a set of four ice block installations near the entrance to the Albin O. Kuhn Library. The sculptures will be installed by noon, and will melt away over several hours.

Step into the Gallery (just inside the Library to the left) for more participatory artworks!

At 5 p.m. join us for a panel discussion in the Library Gallery featuring artist Louie Palu with Nathan Kurtz, Ph.D. ’09, physics, Chief of NASA’s Cryospheric Sciences Laboratory, Deputy Project Scientist for NASA’s ICESat-2 satellite mission, and Brian Grodsky, Professor of Comparative Politics and Chair of the Political Science Department.

Admission is free!
