Description
The Departments of History and Political Science present an online conversation on the war in Ukraine, the situation of the refugees, and the implications of the war on the global security architecture. The conversation features members of UMBC's and Shady Grove's Ukrainian community and international scholars.
Panelists:
Dr. Joy Neumeyeris a historian, writer and journalist based in Poland. She holds a PhD from UC Berkeley.
Dr. Joshua Shifrinson is Associate Professor of International Relations with the Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and fellow with the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
Maks Prykhodko is a student at UMBC.
Viktor Kovalenko is a student at Shady Grove.
