Description
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, the largest educational exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State, provides opportunities for research, teaching or both in the social sciences.
During this hour-long workshop, Dr. Brian Souders, UMBC's Fulbright Scholar Liaison in the Center for Global Engagement, will introduce the Fulbright program to interested faculty, explore ways to create a competitive application, and discuss UMBC internal support throughout the application process. Rachel Brubaker, Associate Director for Research Development at CAHSS's Creative Achievement and Research Administration Team (CARAT), will discuss CARAT's support and the application routing process.
