Description
M. K. Asante is a professor of creative writing and film in the Department of English and Language Arts at Morgan State University as well as an author, activist, rapper and documentary filmmaker. He will visit two classes to discuss his work and particularly his books, It's Bigger Than Hip Hop, and his memoir, Buck, (currently on the Washington Post bestseller list).
