Description
The Revolution in Rojava: An evening on the situation in the autonomous cantons in the Kurdish controlled areas of Northern Syria
In the middle of a brutal civil war and the rise of ISIS, the Kurdish communities in Northern Syria are not only defending their autonomy, but building a social revolution. The autonomous cantons are experimenting with new forms of communal democracy, designing much needed patterns for political and cultural freedom, and developing and drawing on a militant feminist critique of existing gender relations. And they're under constant threat from almost all sides.
Find out what's going on in Rojava, and learn about the possible ways to engage in international solidarity in defense of their ongoing revolution.
