Description
The Ancient Studies Council would like to invite you to the maiden voyage of our new mini-seminar series: "Scribe School." With the assistance of Dr. Jones-Lewis and Dr. Phin, the Ancient Studies Council will be hosting a series of seminars focusing on calligraphy and the development of writing in the ancient world.
These interactive courses will begin with a quill writing seminar. Dr. Jones-Lewis will provide students with a brief history of calligraphy, as well as a demonstration. Then students will be able to test out their new skills with their very own hand crafted Turkey Quill Pens!
Students will leave the course with a better understanding of calligraphy, its development and practice, and a quill pen of their very own.
Please join us for this exciting new event Friday, March 25th! (RSVP by Monday, March 21)
