Description
This guided-discussion with STRIDE focuses on the initial planning stages of upcoming faculty searches. Together, we will share and discuss strategies for creating diversity hiring plans, assembling a search committee, crafting the job ad, and developing a recruitment plan. The workshop is designed primarily for individuals who will be search committee chairs or serving on a search committee in the 2016-2017 academic year, but we welcome any faculty to attend.
Lunch will be provided.
