Description

The Department of Gender and Women's Studies is hosting a monthly discussion-based symposium, Teaching Across Differences in the New Political Landscape, on the first Friday of each month at 3:00pm in FA 424. This is an opportunity for faculty to share concerns and strategies to navigate difficult topics/conversations in the classroom, particularly arising during the spring 2017 semester. 

All faculty are welcome. Light refreshments are provided.

The last session for the semester will be held on May 5th and organized as peer resources sharing on the following specific topic:

Managing classroom dynamics after difficult discussions (Strategies for reflecting and responding long term) - what worked and what didn't
