Description
The UMBC Collegium Musicum, directed by Dr. Lindsay Johnson, is dedicated to the exploration and performance of vocal and instrumental music from the European Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods, sampling musical repertoires created between 800 and 1750. The ensemble explores convention and innovation by pairing music that pushed boundaries in its time with music that followed stylistic conventions.
