Workshop on Chicago/Turabian Style Formatting Tips
Location
Performing Arts & Humanities Building : 317
Date & Time
November 20, 2017, 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Description
What is Chicago style? When do I use it? Increasingly, publications from scholarly journals to edited volumes are requiring scholars to format their work according to Chicago style. It is therefore important for the next generation of writers and scholars to have at least a foundational understanding of its conventions. Though this workshop will focus on tips for writing in the history discipline, it is open to students in any discipline as well as writing tutors who may need to review their skills. The workshop will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM in the Performing Arts and Humanities Building, Room 317. Please register in advance at https://my.umbc.edu/groups/wc/events/54735. We look forward to seeing you there. Snacks will be provided.
