Please join the CAHSS Dean’s Office, the Dresher Center, and the Center for Innovation, Research, and Creativity in the Arts (CIRCA) for a "Lunch-and-Learn" session on Kuali, UMBC's new research management system. The session will take place on Friday, February 23rd, from noon until 1:00 p.m., in the Dresher Center conference room (PAHB 216). Lunch will be provided.
Kuali is a cloud-based research administration tool for managing proposals and awards, which is being used in many USM institutions. The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) will present a short introduction to Kuali for Arts and Humanities Chairs and Directors and faculty Principal Investigators (PIs).
CAHSS is preparing to launch Kuali shortly. It will replace paper and PeopleSoft proposal routing!
During this briefing, we will
• introduce Kuali research software
• explore some of the features and functions
• discuss what is changing
• talk about Kuali and your role as a PI and/or Department Chair or Director
Space is limited, so please RSVP by Wednesday, February 21st, to Rachel Brubaker, Assistant Director, Dresher Center for the Humanities.
