Bio: As a Community Health Educator with Planned Parenthood of Maryland, I develop and conduct community education and outreach in order to help people make safe and healthy decisions about their bodies, sexuality, and relationships! The educators at Planned Parenthood of Maryland primarily teach middle through high school students on sexual and reproductive health topics, ranging from reproductive anatomy to contraceptive methods to consent.  I have also developed new lessons for our school partners, last fall I developed a lesson on porn and sexting for middle schoolers. Planned Parenthood of Maryland is having important conversations with young folks and empowering them with knowledge! This is literally my dream job, as I was doing similar outreach and education in college as an extra-curricular… but now it’s my full-time job!
