This session provides an overview on how Common Rule updates impact human subjects research at UMBC.
Timothy Sparklin, Office of Research Protections and Compliance, will lead the workshop.
Revisions to the federal regulations (the Common Rule) that protect the rights and welfare of human research participants will become effective on January 21, 2019. Please join us to learn about how IRB and ORPC have revised their procedures, application processes, and forms to meet these requirements.
