Over 700 social leaders have been killed in Colombia since 2016 when the peace agreement between the government and The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) was signed. While a postconflict era remains utopian, networks of activists perform everyday practices of survival that make life possible. This talk traces the connections between two local organizations from the Colombian Pacific, Red Departamental de Mujeres Chocoanas and Ruta Pacífica de las Mujeres, and transnational antimilitaristic feminist organization Women in Black. The questions that will guide this overview are: what is feminist about peace-building, and how does survival rely on local, regional, and global networks of solidarity?
