Beware of phishing emails

The Division of Information Technology has reported a growing number of email-based scams targeting the campus community.  If you receive an email asking for your phone number, an immediate response, or offering you a job, please take a few minutes to confirm that the sender is who they say they are.  (This is usually clearer if you hit reply and find the reply-to address changes.)  For recent schemes, check this website.
