Dr. Natalie Groom performing at ClarinetFest 2022
Whistling Hens, an ensemble comprised of Dr. Natalie Groom, Affiliate Artist of Clarinet at UMBC, and Jennifer Piazza-Pick, Assistant Professor of Voice at Queens University of Charlotte, is performing at the International Clarinet Association's ClarinetFest conference at 2pm on Thursday, June 30 at the Peppermill Resort (Tuscany Room) in Reno, NV. The ensemble is committed to performing and commissioning music by women composers to combat the inequality women in music have faced.
You can also visit the UMBC college fair table on Thursday, June 30 from 4:30-5:30pm in the Tuscany Ballroom Lobby. Dr. Groom's appearance is supported by the UMBC Adjunct Faculty Advisory Committee, UMBC Department of Music, and the Maryland State Arts Council.
