Trans Day of Remembrance

Honoring the lives lost to transphobia

Join the Women's Center in the observance of Trans Day of Remembrance. This is a day where the lives lost to transphobia within the past year are honored through events hosted by the Women's Center in the coming weeks until November 20th.

There will be quilt square making in the Women's Center to honor and remember the lives lost to transphobia. These will be displayed on November 19th on Main Street between 10 AM- 4 PM. A Community Vigil will also be held on November 20th by the True Grits statue from 1 - 2 PM.
