New “Pedagogy Study Hall” with Tomashi Jackson and Nia Evans, April 8, 2025, 5:30-7 pm

Join artist Tomashi Jackson and policy analyst/economic advocate Nia Evans for the next in a series of public conversations about support for the visual arts and humanities on April 8th at 5:30 pm. Spaces are limited and registration is required.

Organized by the Center for Art, Design, and Visual Culture at UMBC (CADVC), this conversation focuses on structures of cultural support. Live guests will include Ryan PattersonNick Hartigan, and Denise Griffin Johnson, with remote moderation from Tomashi Jackson and Nia Evans. The panel discussion is a part of Tomashi Jackson and Nia Evans's “Pedagogy Study Hall,” a research project featuring an intermedia series of public discussions about investment and disinvestment in the arts and humanities.
