For our next Faculty Feature, we want to highlight Professor Oen-Lee!

On November 4th, Professor Oen-Lee will be speaking at UMD as part of the Pressly Forum, organized by their Department of Art History and Archeology. The talk, titled “Global/Chinese/Modern: Amateurs, Professionals, Circulations, and Systemic Glitches,” connects to archival research conducted over many years in locations like California, China, Hong Kong, Belgium, and the Netherlands. This talk is also part of Professor Oen-Lee's larger project of situating modern and contemporary art practices from Asia in the context of institutional power structures and entangled temporalities.
