Job Posting: GWU English for Academic Purposes Program

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Program at The George
Washington University (http://programs.columbian.gwu.edu/eap/) invites
applications for two non-tenure accruing teaching positions (special
service, 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal), anticipated
to start as early as January 1, 2014.

Basic Qualifications:
A Ph.D degree in a relevant field (such as Second Language Acquisition, Applied Linguistics, Teaching English as a Second Language or a closely related field), native or superior fluency in English, and evidence of excellence in teaching, as
demonstrated by evaluations, peer reviews, etc. Successful candidates
are expected to teach all levels of EAP courses, to assist in the
administration and coordination of the EAP Program, and to develop new
courses and programs in a rapidly growing EAP Program. Academic rank
will be Teaching Assistant Professor, and salary will be commensurate
with qualifications and experience.
