Hübler Jones to represent UMBC at a “Global Conversation: Why the UN Must Focus
on Women's Leadership.” The event takes place at Barnard College in New York
City on September 26, 2013 and is sponsored by the Women in Public Service
Project. The project seeks to provide vital momentum to the next generation
of women leaders who will invest in their countries and communities, provide
leadership for their governments and societies, and help change the way global
solutions are developed.
As the United Nations convenes its 68th General Assembly to tackle some of humanity's most intractable problems, panelists will explore key issues facing women today. Speakers will include:
