Public Policy Professor John Rennie Short was interviewed last week by CBC News, the Canadian Broadcast Corporation's flagship news program. During the interview, he discussed the challenges and costs cities face when bidding for and hosting the Olympic Games. 

The segment was released in light of Calgary's recent rejection via voter referendum of a plan to host the 2026 Olympic Games.
