UPDATE: Advising Information for Asian Studies Students

Please Read

Greetings Asian Studies students,

The Spring 2020 course catalog is live and early registration (by number of credits) has begun.

Advising appointments with Dr. Oyen continue to be available. All meetings take place in her office, FA 549, unless you have made alternate arrangements directly with her. To sign up, sign in to your google account and access her calendar here: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/selfsched?sstoken=UUc1cHltUHhFSWJ0fGRlZmF1bHR8ZDY1MGM3NTg5ZmI2Njg1MjNlNDJjYmMxZTc4NWJkOTM

Dr. Oyen also has office hours on Mondays between 1:30 and 3:00.  Priority at that time goes to ASIA 100 students, but anyone can drop by for assistance then.

You MUST see Dr. Oyen if you are a senior trying to graduate in the next two semesters.  Otherwise, any Asian Studies students are welcome to sign up with Dr. Oyen.  You may also see Mr. Hamilton from 9:00-10:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays or make an appointment to see Dr. Song in the History Department.

Please note that the elevator is not working on the south side of the building. You can take the north side elevator to the fourth floor and walk across and up the last flight of stairs. If you would prefer to meet Dr. Oyen at an alternate accessible location, please email her directly at oyen@umbc.edu to make arrangements.
